NLL Week Ten: Standings In Shambles
Following another busy weekend for the NLL, the standings have never been less clear. Vancouver and Ottawa are tied for seventh place at 4-4, while San Diego sits in 12th at 3-5. Six teams are in between 4-4 and 3-5, while Vegas and Albany sit just behind that.
Meanwhile, Buffalo continues to roll and the Rock climb progresses as well. In other words, there is still a lot left to happen in the 2025 season.

Halifax Thunderbirds 10 – Vancouver Warriors 9
The Thunderbirds were in major need of a win and they got it at home against the Warriors. Ryan Terefenko turned in one of the performances of the year with 3 goals and 2 assists out the defensive gate for the Thunderbirds.
Clarke Petterson, Mike Robinson, Randy Staats, and Dawson Theede had 3 points each for the Thunderbirds.
Adam Charalambides continued his hot-streak with a goal and 5 assists for Vancouver, while Keegan Bal had a goal and 3 assists.
Stat of the Game: Terefenko had his best game of his career. He had previously scored 3 points six times, most recently on March 15, 2024 against Panther City.

Calgary Roughnecks 11 – Ottawa Black Bears 8
Calgary secured a massive road victory on the back of their best defensive effort of the season. They allowed just 8 goals against, which was their first time holding a team to single digit goals so far this season.
Tyler Pace and Jesse King had 6 points each for the Roughnecks, while Curtis Dickson had 2 goals and 3 assists.
Jacob Dunbar and Eric Fannell had 4 points each for the Black Bears.
Stat of the Game: With 36 saves and an 81.8% save percentage, the game was easily the best start of the year for Cam MacLeod.
Attendance: 5,098
Rochester Knighthawks 15 – Philadelphia Wings 12
Rochester got back on the winning track with a road victory against the Wings. Connor Fields had 2 goals and 8 assists for the Knighthawks, whole Ryan Lanchbury added 2 goals and 7 assists of his own.
Rochester also added Rylan Hartley back to the lineup, making his first start of the year. He made 32 stops for the win.
Joe Resetarits and Mitch Jones had 8 points each for the Wings who continued their big seasons offensively.
Stat of the Game: Rochester out-shot the Wings 63-44, which was aided by a 60% night at the stripe for Mike Sisselberger.

Buffalo Bandits 16 – Albany Firewolves 10
The Bandits incredible start continued on Saturday. Buffalo now sits at 6-0 with a +39 goal differential. They do have the fewest games played in the league, so will have a difficult stretch upcoming.
Josh Byrne (5 goals, 5 assists) and Dhane Smith (3 goals, 7 assists) had 10 points each to pace the Bandits.
Alex Simmons had 2 goals and 5 assists to lead the Firewolves while Ethan Walker had a hat-trick.
Stat of the Game: Smith is on pace for 174 points this season while Byrne is on pace for 165.
Attendance: 18,459
Georgia Swarm 16 – Las Vegas Desert Dogs 14
The Swarm held off a late Desert Dogs comeback effort to secure the victory and end their three-game skid.
Rookie Toron Eccleston had a breakout game, scoring 4 goals and 4 assists. Meanwhile Miles Thompson had 3 goals and 3 assists.
Jack Hannah had 3 goals and 5 assists to lead the Desert Dogs while Kyle Killen had 2 goals and 4 assists. The 14 goals were the most for the Desert Dogs this season.
Stat of the Game: Eccleston previously had 2 points in his first two games played, so Saturday truly was his breakout performance.
Attendance: 5,110
Saskatchewan Rush 12 – San Diego Seals 8
The Rush used a 7-0 halftime lead to cruise to victory over the San Diego Seals at Pechanga arena. Robert Church and Zach Manns had 8 points each for the Rush, while young netminder Thomas Kiazyk drew in again for the Rush. Making 36 saves in the win, Kiazyk was very sharp.
Zach Currier, Tre Leclaire and Trent DiCicco had 3 points each for the Seals.
Stat of the Game: With 31 points in six games, Church is averaging more than 5 points per game this season.
Attendance: 4,578
Toronto Rock 9 – Colorado Mammoth 8
The Rock continue their run of success with their lineup back intact. Josh Dawick had 4 goals including the overtime game winner while Tom Schreiber and Dan Craig also had 4 points.
Ryan Lee had 3 goals and 3 assists to lead the Mammoth, while Connor Kelly and Connor Robinson had 4 points each.
Stat of the Game: TD Ierlan won 19 of 20 faceoffs in the game, good for 95% win percentage. That allowed the Rock to out-shoot the Mammoth 66-47.
