The Evans Hat Trick and Week Three Preview
With the NLL having it’s earliest start to the season in years, the games before Christmas are more important than ever. Nobody wants to get left behind before the schedule flips.
The league is back to 14 teams this year as well, making it easy for every team to play in a given weekend. That is the case this weekend as there are 7 games across Friday and Saturday nights, as fans will be treated to an action packed weekend.
We begin the newsletter this week however with some history, as LCD’s own Jon Donville looked at the number of Gordie Howe Hat Tricks in NLL history. Unsurprisingly, there was a clear leader.
Perhaps it should be renamed the Evans Hat Trick.
